CSA update!!
it's a snow day but spring is coming soon
Happy snow day! We made a tunnel in a tunnel to keep our greenhouse starts extra warm today . . . we’re going to start planting them in just a couple short weeks!
And now for some CSA numbers . . . we are just about *half way full* at all of our sites!!
Our goal for this year is 125 weekly members - and even though it’s still solidly winter out there, we’re already almost halfway full! This is a great place for us to be as we head into the springtime rush in March . . . and if you’ve been meaning to snag a spot or share with a friend, now is the best time to make sure you get one! We have more pick-up sites than ever, and you have just one more week to get our longest monthly payment plan ($90 mo for 11 months for a Full Share, just til the end of February).
In big winter project news . . . thanks to a grant from Orange County, and in preparation for hosting more events at the farm this year 💫, we’ve upgraded our driveway, our parking situation, and our bathroom facilities at the farm!! Check out our new *covered bathroom*, complete with sink and vanity 😂 to make sure you’re looking cute at the farm!!
This definitely counts as fancy for our scrappy-but-not-too-scrappy little farm operation, we think we’re at least a 3 star facility now. We’re pretty jazzed. Can’t wait to host y’all on the farm soon!
And in case you needed just a little more proof that spring is around the corner . . . our chickens have started laying eggs again ❤️ Finding this treasure in the coop last week brought me so much joy.
